Frank Herold is a professional video editor and director. He was the owner of VideoWorks, a full service video production company located in New York City. In 2003 he merged the video editing division of that company with Aptinet, an Internet development company. He remains a stock holder and has an active relationship with Aptinet since recently selling his interest to his business partner.

Since 2009, Frank and his wife have been teaching “Broadcast News and Video Production”, a summer course at Anglo American University in Prague, CZ. Frank has also been a consultant and editor for Drew University’s Career Center in Madison, New Jersey.   Frank has worked with most major advertising agencies producing and editing hundreds of commercials. He has also edited long form programs and received an Emmy nomination his work.  As a working owner Frank has always found it more cost effective and rewarding to promote from within and as a result has trained numerous young people in the art of video editing. Many of these people have become highly regarded in the video community.
