Barbara K. Kaye is full professor at the University of Tennessee. She has also served as Associate Director of the online master degree program at Johns Hopkins University, D.C. campus. She has taught abroad in Paderno Del Grappa, Italy, Urbino, Italy, Innsbruck, Austria, and Taipei, Taiwan, and has traveled for business and pleasure to 23 countries.

Dr. Kaye’s accomplishments include 82 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters, and 104 peer-reviewed conference papers.  She is co-authored of Now Media: The Evolution of Electronic Communication (Named textbook of the year by Broadcast Education Association).

Her work has been cited almost 10,000 times. She has twice been awarded “Best Researcher” in her college, twice named academic fellow for the National Association of Television Program Executives, and was selected to attend the Scripps Howard Academic Leadership Academy at Louisiana State University.
