Martin Ehl
Martin Ehl is Chief International Editor in the Czech economic daily Hospodarske noviny. During his journalistic career, he has worked as a foreign news reporter for the Czech dailies MF Dnes and Lidove noviny and at the weekly Tyden. He is an expert in Central Europe and security policy in Europe as well as transatlantic relations, but has also reported from Latin America, the United States, and the Balkans.
He was a fellow at the Institute of International Relations in Prague and holds a PhD in political science from Charles University. Martin writes a weekly column on Central Europe, published in Hospodarske noviny and on Transitions Online, as Middle Europa. His most recent book (in Czech) is “The third decade. On life, politics and people between Brussels and Gazprom,” essays and reports about Central Europe.
