Tomáš Brolík works as a deputy editor-in-chief in Respekt magazine. He started working for Respekt at the end of 2012. He contributes to the Focus section, where he writes mostly about politics, economics, and occasionally environment. He focuses on the region of Central Europe. He has received several journalism awards for his articles. He studied in Poland and Hungary and enjoys reading fiction from both countries. In 2025, together with Ondřej Kundra, he published a book about Czech military aid to Ukraine and Russian aggression, Czech Weapons for Ukraine.
