Sharron Lovell
Sharron Lovell is the co-trainer of this course – and a multimedia journalist, whose work has been published by PBS, Newsweek, The Guardian, National Geographic books, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, ChinaFile, Foreign Policy, The Independent, The Financial Times and the Pulitzer Centre for Crisis Reporting.
Sharron holds a BA (First Class Honours) degree in Photography and an MA Degree in Photojournalism & Documentary Photography. She’s programme leader of UK Bolton University’s International Multimedia Journalism Masters Program.
Sharron also works regularly for UNICEF UK and UNICEF China. She’s a passionate visual storyteller, with particular interests in labour, migration, and environmental issues. For most of her reporting career, she has been China-based and has documented diverse issues from Chinese youth to the countries HIV epidemic which traveled along drug trafficking routes, and the demolition of the Uyghur heartland of Kashgar.
