Noura Maan is a journalist at the foreign desk of the Austrian daily newspaper DER STANDARD, where she works in a combined print/online newsroom. She focuses mainly on US-politics and right wing populism. Before she joined DER STANDARD in 2014, she studied history and political science at the University of Vienna and worked as a freelancer for several media outlets, for example the Associated Press.
