Mark Baker
Mark Baker is an experienced travel writer and regular contributor to publications such as The Wall Street Journal, National Geographic Traveler, Wanderlust, and Olive, among others. He has written 15 guidebooks, mostly on Central and Eastern Europe, for publishers such as Lonely Planet, Fodor’s, Frommer’s, and DK. Titles include Lonely Planet guides to Prague and the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, and Romania & Bulgaria; Frommer’s guides to Prague and Poland; and Fodor’s Best of Eastern Europe. Mark has lived in Central Europe for nearly 20 years and has an M.A. from Columbia University in New York.
