Jan Cibulka is a data journalist working for Czech Radio, the national public radio broadcaster. His interests include GIS (geographical information systems), such as digital maps, and FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) requests to obtain data from government agencies. He does most of his data analysis in Python. His GIS tool of choice is ArcGIS. He started working as a data journalist in 2013, when he joined the data analysis team of the Czech business daily Hospodářské noviny.
