About This Course

A great introduction to international reporting, this course will teach all the basics of foreign correspondence and provide  tips on how to carve out a place in a changing, but still fascinating profession and make it work financially.

Highly experienced foreign correspondents will provide the instruction and guide participants through real-life reporting assignments that cover aspects of the transition in the Visegrad countries. Trainees will also learn how to shoot illustrative photos and video to accompany their articles, an essential skill in a profession that increasingly values multimedia proficiency. By the end of the course, participants will have generated article clips — invaluable for early-career journalists.
